Mikava operates two fincas where landrace and heirloom varieties of coffee are grown. One farm is located in Santurario in the foothills of PNN Tatamá and the other in Marsella, a pueblo patrimonio. Both fincas are 6 hectares in size. Mikava won the 2019 Colombian Cup of Excellence with a natural processed, carbonic maceration Gesha. The first time a natural processed coffee won this prestigious competition and the highest ever score received in the 16 year history of the event, a 92.71.
